Description: With a resurgence in the use of the smaller hull BC-303B Menoetius Class a fully civilian variant the SS-303B Atlas Class was commissioned. It is built on the same hull as the Menoetius but with even further reductions in weaponry. It is intended to be operated with out any military contingent if needed.
The SS-303B class wound up in civilian hands after the military rejected the original 7 SS-303Bs for service, having designed them solely as an experiment, and allowed them to be purchased for less than their building cost, on the basis of having been used for experiments, in order to get them off their hands. With the destruction of the class, they have been declared obsolete, and are no longer in production.
