Toprawa

Toprawa is a rather quaint world in the Seswenna Sector in the Outer Rim. It was colonised many years ago, mainly because the planet's underground holds vast amounts of oil. Toprawa was a part of the Old Republic and later a part of the Empire. However, the people on Toprawa has always been of an independent mindset, as most inhabitants of the Outer Rim.
Toprawa played an important role in the Rebel Alliance's theft of the Death Star planets. The original Death Star was constructed on the remote and quite unknown planet of Despayre, Toprawa's neighbouring planet. When the rebel infiltrators stole the plans from the construction site itself, the plans were taken to Toprawa were they were transmitted to the Tantive IV.
The planet's name resurfaced when the local Governor of the Toprawa System, Niles Ravenscroft, was elected the new Moff in the Seswenna Sector. Ravenscroft chose his home-planet as the seat of his Sector Government, and Toprawa's importance has thus increased dramatically of late.
Toprawa is a fairly "normal" planet, its main terrain features being plains and water. Most of the oil is found beneath the Toprawan oceans and the oceans are littered with huge off-shore drilling facilities. The plains are quite fertile and keeps the planet sufficient with food.
