Staplarints
The Staplarint was an arboreal omnivore. Staplarints were introduced to the planet Brosi by Old Republic settlers to be used as mounts.
Once repulsorlift technology began to receive widespread use, the staplarints' usefulness ended. Many staplarints escaped and became wild. In the time of the Galactic Empire, they had spent centuries in the wilds of Brosi.
However, around 2 ABY, the Brosin Underground managed to tame a few staplarints and used them as mounts.
