Capsule: The planet Korriban is a grim desert world; it is under an Imperial ban, but even before this ban it was avoided by nearly all spacers. It is remote, uninhabited, and eerie. The few who have visited describe whistling winds rising from the plains and howling sandstorms that cut through the wind-carved valleys and shred living beings in seconds. Savage predators wander the wastes, hunting the stringy rodents and scrub-grazing herbivores that scratch out a living here. Winters are bitter and summers blistering. It is a world of little moderation.
