History:
During the era of the Settled Worlds, long before the Galactic Republic was formed, a single base and scientific outpost held the only sentient presence on this mostly barren world. The outpost included an observatory that looked outward at the rest of the Deep Core.

Great sleeper ships were launched from Furies Gate, with the intention of returning to the rest of the galaxy. Although several ships were launched over the millennia, they were not heard from and the system remained isolated for millennia.
