Description: Primarily used in the ritualized dueling art of the Morago, the coutari is a short blade of Centauri manufacture. Its use is restricted to nobles of the great houses and Palace Guards but while it is regarded as a symbol of the Republic’s glorious past, it functions superbly as a close combat weapon in battle. Some coutari blades date back centuries and were fashioned by some of the greatest weapon smiths of the Centauri Republic. They are valuable and often placed in high demand by the noble houses for as well as being light weight and balanced for combat, they are often finely crafted antiques.
