Duration: 4 times ship's base Space rating in rounds. After which the ship is out of fuel.
Description: Some small spacecraft are fitted with powerful afterburning engines that either dump fuel directly into the combustion chamber or otherwise temporarily overload their reactors to achieve massive amounts of thrust for a short time. Larger vessels can have similar apparatus fitted to their fusion reactors, making them capable of extreme surges of forward momentum.
