Ankarres Sapphire

Ankarres Sapphire, Also known as The Antares Crystal.

Discovered by Meetra Surik, This blue gem has some strange force properties. When used alone, it can enhance any force healing abilities used by the holder.
A wielder using this stone gets double the effect of all healing powers.
The Ankarres Sapphire is highly tied to the light side of the force. Use by a dark-sider will cause the crystal to heat up and burn them.
Anyone using this stone must make a 1D6 roll against their darkside points. Rolling under the total causes the crystal to heat up. Each round the crystal heats up, doing one more die damage than the previous, up to the dark side point total of the user. This heating continues as long as the dark-side user holds or wields the crystal. If in a lightsabre, the third round of being heated the sabre becomes unstable, each round thereafter roll a D6, if the number is lower than the number of rounds active then the lightsabre will explode, doing it's die code of damage to anyone holding it, or within 1 metre, each metre further away the damage will be reduced by a die.
When used as a Secondary Focusing crystal in a lightsabre, the wielder gets the healing benefits, the stone bestows more accuracy on the sabre.
In a lightsabre the Ankarres Sapphire will give a +1D to hit and parry rolls.

At one point prior to the battle of Yavin, the Ankarres Sapphire was in the possession of Dom Princina, and while on tour on the "Kuari Princess" the Sapphire was stolen by 4-LOM. Was last known to be in the possession of 4-LOM and Zuckuss.
