Note: The TS-Arach series pest control droid was a droid model from MerenData. It was equipped with a mounted blaster, a pesticide hose, four legs, auditory receptors, one photoreceptor, lifeform sensors, and an entomology database. It was .3 meters wide and looked somewhat like a spider. It cost 600 credits. The model was used to protect crops from harmful insects. Its programming allowed it to distinguish between harmful and benign species. The model was popular with Outer Rim farmers, and scouts also found it useful for mapping and cataloging species on new worlds. The chassis was reused for early-production BT-16 perimeter droids.
