EDV-201 "Reaper" security droid

Reaper Security Spider droid Type: EDV - 201 series security bots Scale: character Size: 2.4 meters high/2.9 meters wide Skills: Dexterity 3d+2. Equipped with:

    4 pairs of legs (spider form) around lower body, giving a +1d to running checks and allowing smoother rapid movement.
    Armored body, abdomen and torso granting +2d vs physical attacks and +1d+1 vs energy.  Incorporates Ion shunt buffers, that when the droid takes a "shutdown" damage result vs ion cannon weapons, blow.  Each shunt (5 contained) allows for the ignoring of 1 shutdown result.
    Each arm (2) incorporates one mounted Praxith (Stun capable medium repeating blaster on the inside) with a matching blaster rifle on the outside.
    2 Back mounted Stun grenade launchers (30-70-120 range, 4d+2 stun damage)
    A-202A0-2VVV brain cranial module incorporating sensors, communications, combat module and Identification Friend/Foe database.
    Cr-7-0ii9 Combat module.  Experimental combat tracking unit allowing for separate targeting for each blaster, without suffering Multiple action penalties when shooting each barrel.  Must make Tactics roll (difficult) to successfully activate, and if succeeds, each of up to 4 targets can be shot at on one action in initiative order.  If tactics roll fails, targets are shot at with standard multiple action penalties + further 1d penalty.
    Sensor suite keyed for 40 meter passive bubble/80 meter scan/120 meter search and 10 meter focus grants +2/+1d+2/+2d+2/+3d+2 to sensor skill rolls to sensor checks.
    Head equipped with 4 independent eyes, with both UV and IR night capacity.

Capsule: The eccentric and victim of arachnophobia, Buso-takawa, a member of the Durogovi (a near human race, living near the Cauldron Nebula), had profited from many years as a pirate and slaver. Now in his late 40's, he desired to go legit, and live life the way it should have been. With an amassed fortune in the low 100 millions, he had quite the funds, but lacking the confidence in his people, he lacked the security to keep it all. Someone brought up the possibility of droids, but all those out on the market were 'crap'! He hired 3 droid designers to come up with 2 types, looking exactly the same, but one was for offensive maneuvers, and the other for picket defense. The result was the Reaper series EDV-201 and 209 security droids. With 8 legs, and a humanoid torso, they look ungainly. But they are very capable. The 201, is the defense unit, with sensors linked to an independently powered IFF transponder mix-match unit, while the 209, just has a database of 'friendlies' and anyone not matching it's list gets wasted.
