The Asuran cruiser is a type of spaceship used by the Asurans as a complement to their Aurora-class warships.

Overview

These ships were used by the Asurans to complement their fleet of Aurora-class ships. Since the Asurans use the Aurora-class as their primary warships, these ships are presumably used as support ships. At least one of these ships can cloak. Little is known about these ships as they have not been encountered very often. They are armed with drones and some kind of energy weapons. (ATL: "Progeny", "Lifeline", "This Mortal Coil")

GM's Note

Regarding optional equipment: these ships typically do not have both the cloaking device and the 4 Energy Weapons equipped at the same time. This is because the systems for the Energy Weapons have too high of a power output for a ship of this size, rendering the cloaking device useless against everything but the naked eye.
