Abo Dreth was a planet in Corporate Sector's Abo Dreth system. Large and, at least from orbit, dark brown in color, its terrain was sprinkled with hundreds of silver lakes and rivers. The atmosphere was nitrogen-based and thus rich in this gas.

Description:
Discovered by the Galactic Republic sometime between 3,000 and 25 BBY, the world was of little political significance until the rise of the Galactic Empire.

During the Galactic Civil War Abo Dreth's populace was, for the most part, sympathetic to the Rebel Alliance. Controlled by Warlord Zsinj, it was able to break away from the Corporate Sector before Grand Admiral Thrawn could conquer it.

Escaping the wrath and destruction of the Yuuzhan Vong invasion, the planet continued their support of the Galactic Alliance when the invaders were repelled. After joining the Confederation during the Second Galactic Civil War, the world rejoined the Alliance. As of 137 ABY, the world was part of Darth Krayt's Galactic Empire.
