Character creation:

Templates: All templates listed on the Holocron are available at this time, as long as it makes sense. Explanation on some may be required. All of these templates will follow the max of18D in total attributes. If the templates do not fit what you have in mind feel free to just create your own,but still keep to the 18D total for attributes.

Races: at this moment all races available as long as it’s part of the extended universe. No races allowed that have never been featured in any book or movie. Yes, this does exclude all crossover races.
Skills: starting skills should match what your template lists, or if making a new one match what the template you’re creating should have. Example, most pilots are terrible at social interaction as they tend to have type 1 personalities.
CP: this time around skill dice will not be handed out, all skills will be paid for using character points. You start with 200cp at this time to purchase everything after the attributes and race. Your listed skills will all match the attribute they fall under and thus have the cost equal to paying for the increase during game play. Whatever is not spent at the time of creation will be listed on the character as current stock of point. The only exception to this would be anyone planning to play a droid, which will get no CP at all and only able to improve the character/droid by use of upgrades and credits.
Force: all characters start with 1 Force point and is not larger due to being Force sensitive or not. One is all you start with. The exception to this would be anyone deciding to play a droid, which will have none.

All characters start with no Force powers or Force sensitivity. You can though purchase this using character points at this time at standard cost.

20cp Force sensitive

10cp first die in any of the 3 Force powers

1st Force power die grants one power matching the power

additional powers granted at 1 pip per when purchased at this time

example: 20cp Force sensitivity+ 10cp granting 1dcontrol and concentration+ 1d+1 costing 1cp and granting absorb dissipate energy
Equipment: all characters start with listed equipment for the template, but do not possess it at the time of game start for story reasons. Custom templates will need to consult with the story teller. Consider yourself starting with just clothes and a bus pass.

Addendum for party

bonus: if all players choose to spend the 20cp at character creation you will all be rewarded with a 10cp refund. If all players also take 1 Force power there is a refund of 5cp. 2 powers will grant 15cp. If all players start the character with Force sensitivity and 1d in all three powers I will bonus a full 50cp refund. Causing all Force powers to end up being free at creation. This again is only granted if ALL playing take the opportunity.

Episode 3 Witch hunt

It’s been a total of 6 standard months since the newly appointed Emperor of the galaxy has declared peace, and declared all Jedi to be enemies of the state. With this declaration all Force users, or suspected Force users are now at risk. Anyone who shows signs of being able to use the Force are being round up and turned in for a bounty and placed into slavery, or executed. This has extended to those too lucky in the opinions of others, or just disagreeable to the status quo. Resik Jinzler Jedi on the run, has discovered a cargo hold full of these suspected Jedi. These refugees have all been accused of being Force users and arrested for the standing Imperial bounty, whether guilty or not.

Each refugee has been either accused for being too lucky, too successful, or in fact using the Force. Most, by their own people,communities, and for some family. The slavers have been placed on trial and convicted while each refugee is asked to add testimony of the crimes of slave trading. During these trials all refugees who are not able to return home are housed in government housing. Corellia has provided 3 meals a day and a small apartment for each of you. You have only what you need and nothing more (think fifth element, including the 5 cigarettes a day).

During this time the Empire has been lobbying to take custody of all refugees involved. It’s been a year now after the refugees were rescued. All involved with the slave trade, save for those who bribed enough to avoid conviction, are in prison. Corellia is running out of reasons to deny the Empire. If the refugees don’t find a way to get themselves off Corellia they may end up back where they started. In carbonite and on their way to an execution for supposed Force use.

The refugees all receive an invitation to meet for a job, and enough money for four trips using public transportation.
