Description: The M60 machine gun is a belt-fed general purpose machine gun used by the Stargate Command and the United States military. Col. O'Neill used one during the attempt to capture a Kull warrior on Ramius's Planet. (SG1: "Evolution, Part 1")
A second version—the M60E3—is wielded by the SG-3 Marines and later by Teal'c in the computer simulation designed to evaluate the SGC's defense against Kull Warriors. This version differs from the original version by having a lighter, easier to change barrel and a vertical foregrip. This weapon is typically carried with a padded sling allowing hip firing and a canvas or plastic ammunition holder on the left side of the weapon. (SG1: "The Broca Divide", "Avatar")
