The Esseles Incident
I see life as spirals. The great spiral represents the Cosmos. And each individual has its own, smaller spiral. Where individual spirals cross, individuals meet for a short time. Their paths will most certainly divide afterwards, but they will also most certainly cross again, as is the nature of spirals. Sometimes, individual spirals become intertwined with each other so closely that their destinies become as one. This is the story of five such intertwined spirals.
They all discovered that Ord Mantell was being blockaded by the Empire who did not allow any replublican trade ships to pass. So the only way off the planet was the Esseles, a passenger transport named after the planet in the Essesia system which was bound for Coruscant. The two smugglers wanted to find the thief who stole their ship, the two Jedi followed the trail of the renegade and to find information or rumors about the crystal shards, and for bounty hunter to simply leave the planet.

Unfortunately the spacecraft was attacked and stopped by the flagship of the blockade on grounds of a female Twi'lek spy being on board and an ultiatum was delivered to surrender her. As the captain of the Esseles had been killed in the first attack the second in command, a technical officer who had been elected to be the new captain performed a frantic search of the ship and shortly after ambassador Asara surrendered herself to the crew.

While the new captain was still thinking about how to proceed and the protagonists were thinking about how to escape and save the ambassador the Esseles was attacked by boarding vessels. After a short fight on the bridge the protagonists figured out a plan. They would pretend that the boarding droids had captured their mark and returned with her in order to sneak onto the enemy ship and disable their tractor beams and turbo lasers. All went well - including the crash they caused when landing on the enemy ship that whiped out the droid squad that awaited the prisoner.

He is eager for action, but at the same time is still afraid of the action he so seeks - thus he failed to be accepted as Padawan at the temple. A group of security guards that had acompanied them was left in the hangar with the ambassador to clear a shuttle for take-off. Sealing the side-corridors on their way to the technical center of the vessel the protaginists charged into the room. After the technicians had fled and all the doors were sealed Ri and Tee went on to take out the Tractor beams, but before they could disable the lasers, an attack droid had managed to cut his way through a heavy door. The group fled and could barely close the hangar bulkhead in front of the droids nose - but before them lay the security guards, dead, and Asara, unconcious at the feet of a Sith who slowly drew and activated his ominously glowing light saber. The Jedi and his Padawan knew immediately that this one was more powerful than them together. UrYōma and Codi Ita distracted the unknown Sith so that the others cound board the szuttle and make alst take-off preparations. They managed to surprise the Sith who was struck down after loosing his light sabre.

I am UrYōma and it is the year 1406 after the Great Division - but that is counted in Thra years. In commonly known standard time keeping 5273 years have passed since this happened and I have survived the times ever since.

Codi Ita is a young and ambitious Twi'lek who would like to use his Jedi abilities for the good of people and the Republic. Especially against the Empire. He has taken the teachings of the temple at Tython very much to heart and has no vision of the world as it is yet. He is eager for action, but at the same time is still afraid of the action he so seeks - thus he failed to be accepted as Padawan at the temple. So when I arrived at Tython to seek out possible locations of the lost crystal shards and I met him, I asked the council to have him assigned to me. Peaceful as I may seem I have my own inner demon of lethargy to overcome. The centuries have not passed without leaving their marks - and body and mind will get tired after eons of activity. He will be a good reminder that action is a welcome friend when the spiral draws out too long and I can teach him the merits of peace and of thought.

Tee is an angry young woman. She's a Twi'lek as well and taller and as it seems also stronger that Codi, but filled with anger. Anger about her past, anger about Jedi, anger about herself. She finds solace in action, as it lets her release her anger. She specializes in combat accordingly. She works as a smuggler together with Ri (Mara Ri) but they had their spaceship, the Khan stolen by a person called Risha Drayen. She is also in possession of a holocron - an ancient Jedi information device that other Jedi may take away from her if she would show it around too much. It is an inheritance from her parents, who have died in some way that Tee deems as "stupid". I think that at least one of her parents was a Jedi as well.

Mara Ri is a young Togrutan female and is the partner of Tee. She is very insecure and always questions her own actions. She jokes about everything, including herself when she doesn't know how others feel about it to provoke a reaction that she can read. At the same time she is introverted and is better communicating with machines than with people, probably because she knows that machines do not care what or who she is as long as she treats them well. Thus she is an engineer and pilot.

Lee is the most mysterious and seems to be the oldest of this group. She is a Balosar bounty hunter and takes up nearly every opportunity to make money, although I have a feeling that this is only a way to achieve completely different ends. She places herself in situations that she predicts will be both profitable and at the same time further her own goals. So she actually uses her own greed in order to guide herself where she wants to go.
