When confronted about possible theft of the design, VSIS refused to admit any wrongdoing. Around the time of the Separatist Crisis, [[Arakyd Industries]] sent sixty AAD-4 combat droids into VSIS headquarters to halt production. The business was effectively demolished and the remainder of VSIS's assets were absorbed by Arakyd Industries. The building owned by VSIS were reformed into an Arakyd research and development lab.
