Shadow Base was a base located on [[Mindor]] and used by Cronal in his guise as Lord Shadowspawn. Sited inside a volcano and capable of launching gravity bombs, it could be launched into space by the use of gravitic charges. In the course of Cronal's plan to capture [[Luke Skywalker]] and destroy the New Republic task force sent to end Shadowspawn's reign, Cronal launched the base into space, where it broke apart and was destroyed.
