[[File:Orrem.jpg|thumb|left|Orrem]] '''Species:''' Orrem
'''Home Planet:''' Unknown

'''Orrem'''
Orrem can be found in any spaceport or major city throughout the galaxy. Living in back alleys, sewers, or any forgotten corner, they scavenge for food and anything that looks like fun to tinker with. A playful species, they find it extremely amusing to alter the functions of any mechanical device, such as switching the forward and reverse on a repulsorlift. Because of this, Orrem are largely seen as "gremlins" who steal and malfunction any mechanical device left unattended. Thus, most city animal/ pest control officers have orders to extreminate them on site. However, occasionally a few individuals will recognize some talents of the Orrem and "employ" them as thieves or spies (most see them as pets rather than employees). Also, desperate shipyards have been known to hire them as technicians, although they keep it from their customers as much as possible.

'''''Attribute Dice:''''' 12D
DEXTERITY 1D/3D
KNOWLEDGE 1D/2D+2
MECHANICAL 1D/3+1D
PERCEPTION 2D/4D+2
STRENGTH 1D/2D
TECHNICAL 2D/4D+2

'''Special Skills:'''
''Digging:'' Time to use: One round or longer. The Orrem are natural burrowers and are quite skillful digging tunnels through soft soil or piles of debris. They can tunnel through 1 meter every round (just large enough for them to squeeze through).

'''Special Abilities:'''
''Contortionists:'' The Orrem are able to contort themselves to squeeze through extremely small spaces; as small as a 0.15 meters opening.
''Sneak:'' The Orrem get down on all fours when they walk or run. Added to their small stature, this makes them exceptial at stealth. At the time of character creation only, Orrem get 2D for every 1D they place on sneak.
''Tinkerers:'' The Orrem love to tinker with any piece of machinery. At the time of character creation only, they receive 1D extra to allocate on any technical skills. They cannot go over the 2D limit on any skill.

'''Story Factors:'''
''Pests:'' Due to their size and movement, Orrem are seen as intelligent rodents instead of sentient species by most of galactic society. Added with their tenedency to "borrow" any mechanical device within reach, they are often exterminated as vermin instead of given sentient rights.

'''Move:''' 7/9
'''Size:''' Up to 1.2 meters tall
