'''Species:''' Hrogivul
'''Home Planet:''' Unknown

'''Description:''' Hrogivul are bipedal semi-mammalian aliens, who look similar to Quarren, in that their heads are bulbous and have tentacles coming from where their mouths would be, however their eye area are more akin to mon-calmari, in that they are very large and always look milky white or grey. What little is known of them, comes from the few survivors of their 'cullings'. They apparently live off of eating (literally) other sentient races, brains. It is not known exactly how they do this, but it is believed their tentacles allow them to invade the cranial space of someone's head, some how subdues them, and then it is thought, that they secrete some sort of poison or venom, that liquefies the brain matter, allowing the Hrogivul to 'suck it' in. It is not known how often they need to 'eat' like this, or whether when they eat, they gain any of the knowledge of the person they are consuming the brain of.

'''Society and culture:'''
Nothing is known about their society or culture, other than they roam occasionally into the known space, always inside the outer rim or mid-rim for a few years every 2 to 3 decades, pick up several large ships, which has been dubbed "Culling", then leave. Their ships are always seen as almost bio-technical, but rarely are seen when not involved in culling. ''All who see them are highly encouraged to flee!''

'''Attribute dice:''' 12d
'''Strength:''' 2d/4d
'''Perception:''' 2d+2/4d+2
'''Mechanical:''' 1d+2/3d+2
'''Knowledge:''' 3d/5d
'''Dexterity:''' 2d+1/4d+1
'''Technical:''' 1d+1/3d+1

'''Special abilities:'''
*'''Heightened Willpower''': The few encounters recorded via the old Jedi order, shows that Hrogivul are highly resistant to mental powers of the force. It is not known if this is because they themselves are resistant to the force itself, or if their minds are harder to manipulate than normal. *'''Brain eating''': If a Hrogivul gets a tentacle into a person's head (via the nose or mouth), each round they make a contested Willpower vs Willpower roll. If the Hrogivul beats the victim, they have been 'subdued' and can't resist, as their brains get eaten, over a period of 3d rounds. Each round a 'victim' is having his brains eaten, reduce their Perception and Knowledge Permanently by +1. If either ever get to 0d, the person dies. '''Move''': 7/ 10
'''Size''': 1.2 to 1.9 meters.

'''Source''': Garhkal, Custom race for home game.
