'''Description''': While the Prometheus-class has become very much a back burner ship, with little use on the front lines, the ability to have a smaller ship does have merit. As such the Menoetius-class or FFL-303B (which is it's military designation) was created. The Menoetius is basically an updated version of the Prometheus-class, with some hull changes, without the carrier abilities. Several years later a civilian variant, the SS-303B Atlas-class, was also created. It commonly serves as a support and transport ship and things akin to a frigate, with weapons more for self defense then attack. It has been in production as it's own class since 2018 with several ships produced in the years before which were mainly striped down 303s refitted for civilian use, after being declared 'unusable' for frontline combat a number of reasons.

The original versions were initially intended as BC-303s that were hurriedly finished without a number of their system, before being rushed into service to assist in resupply and other non-combat duties that the lack of those systems wouldn't hamper. With the destruction of the bulk of the FFL-303Bs, the class has largely ceased production.
