Eol Sha community, a group of gas miners that was settled on Dantooine by the New Republic when they were evacuated from their system. They chose a mountainous region of Dantooine. They then started mining, but for minerals this time. Track Description The Alley:
Narrow trail with some winding and twists and turns it heads down into the mines. There are often gravel and rocks slipping from the sides with the noise of racing.
Devil Drop:
From the Alley, the track slopes down in a steeper and steeper decline, leading to steep and high speed winding track weaving between rocky cliffs and crevaces.
Prospectors Paradise:
The track flows into a maze of mine tunnels, there is a path through without difficulty, but most turnings include dropoffs, sinkholes, jumps with stalactites to be avoided and dead ends.
Devil's Knot:
The track leads to a twisting and weaving trail that climbs until it runs above itself, dropping into a downward run.
Jaws:
Running between jagged rocks, there is a jump over a body of water, best left undisturbed, rumors of an unpleasant and dangerous creature abound.
Craggy Spindles:
a series of jumps, where riders have to weave their way through rocky passages. One miscalculation can result in firey death.
Basecamp Pits:
An artificially straightened run, audience stands on either sides, opening on both sides into areas set asside for pits.
K2 trail:
Exiting that cavern the racers flow onto a winding and spiraling trail up the side of the mountain peak next to the mines, narrow ledges, plumeting cliffs and steep climbs make this section crueling.
Kings of the sky:
Utilising the communities extensive knowledge of repulsor platform technology, riders must jump from the end of the K2 trail straight out onto a series of semi-stationary repulsor platforms, hopping stepping stone style back to the original mountain, coming out near the top, blasting onto thickly snow-covered trails.
Black Diamond Run:
The thick snow blasts around this peak as riders stir up the powder, winding to the steep downhill run.
Lover's Leap:
As the racers hit the fastest point of the downhill, kicking up clouds of snow powder, they are put into a stomach churning jump, that if done correctly, leads the rider through a 'gentle' high speed corner and into the Ally for their next lap.
Mechanics:- The Alley: Difficulty Modifier:- +20 Failure:- Crash - rockface Complication Options:- rockfalls, +10 difficulty on re-roll swoop op -10 speed penalty. Devil Drop: Difficulty Modifier:- +20 Failure:- High Speed Crash (min 11D damage) Complicaiton Options:- Racer interaction (contested swoop op rolls, winner ahead, if looser by more than 10, they must re-roll regular diff +10 or crash); Rockslip (re-roll at +15 -10 penalty) Prospectors' Paradise: Difficulty Modifier:- +35 Failure:- Crash - GM determines locstion and survival chances Complication Options:- wrong route (gm choice, penalty vs out of race); sharp turns cause wall interactions, damage swoop (roll for first level damage); Racer interaction (contested swoop op rolls, winner ahead, if looser by more than 10, they must re-roll regular diff +10 or crash) Devil's Knot: Difficulty Modifier:- +15 Failure:- Crash - damage from crash then from drop.
